Improved station-based traders to sell products at at least the price set at their station. Improved accuracy of turrets and gimballed weapons. Added Nividium to items bought by Argon and Teladi trade stations. Added option to restore all default settings. Added graphics setting to show graphics card and screen separately on multi-GPU systems. Wish I took a video of the whole experience.Įdit 2 : Here's a good starter video for anyone new to X Though there is a bit of an immersion disjoint, in that if you exit the ship you can run around in simulated? gravity, where I was a moment earlier hovering around in a space suit gently adjusting thrusters, but I think I can get my head around it imagining grav boots when you are not in your spacesuit, and there is kind of an atmospheric seal on the area.Īwesome little experience though "Oh crap I got the wrong bus!" lol. I right clicked my ship, and chose to dock with it, and thankfully even when landed, you can carefully move close enough to the belly of the ship to dock with it and be ported onboard again. So I chose it and got ejected into space.Īfter a lot of maneuvering I managed to get close to my ship where it was docked inside the space station, but could not exit the space suit. I could not figure out why or even guess the AI intentions, so I went to the Teleport at the back of the ship. However at that moment the door shut, and the Captain was steering us out of the station - Hopefully he would be coming back otherwise I was not sure how I would get back (whether teleports work at long distance?, I dont know)Īfter just watching him travel across 3 systems trading luckily he did come back to the station where I became an unwitting stowaway - But would not land, he just stopped dead quite a way off and did not start any approach to the station. Went inside the ship to find a Teladi Captain at the helm, but did not talk to him, I wanted to turn and get off. I was wandering towards the Trader again when another larger ship landed nearby, the protection barriers fell so I went for a look see. I still have the starter ship, Elite Vanguard, landed on the Argon Equipment dock. looking into now for possible working fix.I just did something which momentarily took me out of my comfort zone, but turned out to be quite a bit of an adventure. RaceWars has Conflict with Xtendeds own "Race Wars" features. Sector TakeOver Unknown Reason yet for the crashing, #X3 albion prelude hud mod mods
Anyone with any decent experiance in modding with X3AP any suggestions whats causing the issue, and/or Has AP Compatible mods saved handy and ready to upload to share ^_^ Sadly the game freezes and crashes to fast when it does it I cant even check the Mission Director Debugging panel as it freezes BEFORE its displayed whats caused it :\ (* I even used GameConquer to hook the debugger messages so I can read the strings in that, alas, no joy the frozen/crashed X3AP crashes/freezes the GameConquer aswell :\ *) wasnt hard, so the only addons im "Unsure" about are RaceWars, Pirate Guild and Yaki Armarda. Claim Sectors just needed tweaking to supress the AI Rebuilding stations/Respawning patrols in "Claimed" sectors till they have taken them back.
#X3 albion prelude hud mod install
To clarify, ive installed the Yaki Armarda, Race Wars and Pirate Guild Mods into the "Addon" folder and "Fake Patched", but im unsure if Im just supposed to install them into the main X3-TC folder itself, or in Albions "Addon" folder.Ĭlarification: Xtended mods messages all start fine, Mission Director debugging shows Yaki nor pirates scripts have not started to work yet.
#X3 albion prelude hud mod mod
X3 crashes after 10 minutes or so, its likely a issue with how ive installed the mods manually (* No, "Use spk files noob" idiots please, I game on Linux, The mod manager is uneeded manually installing isnt a problem im, just rusty *). So I finally decided to get the Yaki Armarda, Claim Sectors, Race Wars and Pirate Guild Mods, along with X2 backgrounds for X3, Improved HUD interface and Elite:Dangerous Cockpit, Which all work fine.
Ok so I had almost 65 mods working years ago when I first started this game last time round, Ive got Xtended and the relevant patches for it to work on AP, now Ive got it all working fine including manually unlocking the "Extra" starts myself.
